can you make a movable laser like going left to right ? if yes then how?

I'm sure its possible. I know its 100% possible to make one swivel left and right because they use one in Half-Life: Source. It shouldn't be that hard to make one move left to right. If I remember, Duck made a tutorial on making lasers, I think all you would have to do would be attack it to something that moves.

well making the lasers move is very simple. The entities that are used is: func_tracktrain and path_track(s) if you wanted to look more into that.
What you can do is make a nodraw texture small and tie to entity, make it a func_tracktrain, the tracktrain runs on the path_track(s)
Ah its hard to explain in text, if you want I can make you a tutorial

the lasers will be parented with the invisible nodraw (func_tracktrain)
