There is a way to create your own models (props) to use in your maps, which is called Softimage XSI Mod Tool v.4.2, which is free...it's what valve used to create their own props for their maps

this is the link: www.softimage.com/downloads/default.aspx just click the arrow, which will show other tools, click on Mod Tool, which will bring you to download mirrors, click the SOFTIMAGE XSI Mod Tool version 4.2, which is 202MB download file, save the file to the desktop, and download, run through the setup wizard, or however your setup is used on your computer, and their you have it |

It would be better if you would register with Softimage, which is free, you would need a valid e-mail address to be able to save your work used on XSI Mod Tool v4.2, you will get a code send to you which would be your customer ID, it took me awhile to find out how to get it
