Ok so i open Source SDK and try to make a map
the 1st thing it does is send me and error message saying
"Can't load FileSystemOpenDialog.dll."
So i click ok on it and then continue.
I click file and the new and then this pops up like 5 times "Missing material 'editor/flatnocull'. Go to Tools|Options|Game Configurations and verify that your game directory is correct" i have no idea what its telling me to do...
so i click it all 5 times and it starts to work
but as soon as i make a texture and then try and make a box
it freezes and crashed

I've deleted it and reinstalled it more than 5 times.
Please help

what it means is, your hammer config game directory isnt correct, you will need to check that, go to Tools/Options (top left) and towards the bottom, it says Game Directory and there is a browse button, click it and go to the following directory: C:\program files\steam\steamapps\<username>\counsterstrikesource\cstrike folder

then click apply, then ok...restart Hammer, it should work

if you do have the info correctly, then you will have to take that up with the troubleshooting website, steam set up for these kinds of situations. you can check it out at www.steampowered.com head to the forums section and search there.
