hey i cant figer out a websight to download a map making program or if i enen need one erggggs xD can someone help me ;D

Woot finally a topic I can help with!! You download Source SDK from Steam. After you log in, Click the tools tab and it should be there. If you have any problems finding it I'll post a pic (has happened before  ) |

Uhh steam is the program that you have to start up to play CSS... Well anyway a like is www.steampowered.com to the program itsself |

the Source SDK comes with the game, and of course you have to have Steam to play it, just open Steam go to the Tools Tab and download and install Source SDK, once it loads, launch it and you will have to configure Hammer Editor, and for a help icon will assist you to how to configure it, once you get it configured relaunch hammer and watch some of my videos to help you understand how to make a map

 I always get stuck when trying to configure hammer... i just wanna make a map already. any easy guide to config ?

You can configure hammer manually, or do it my way, and configure it automatically. This is what I do to make it configure automatically:
First launch source sdk. Then click on where it says Reset Game config and run that, once that is done, close out of source sdk, and launch counter-strike: source. Once that loads, close out, and launch source sdk again, then click reset game config one more time and launch hammer. That should do it,

i tried to download sdk, but after it installed, it wont let me open it, it just says its preparing to open, then that window disappears and i cant do anything. help please.
