how do i put a buy point in to my map and why cant i see my health?

hi there mike, here what "buy point" is referred to is "buyzone" and to find out how to make one go here: youtube.com/watch?v=yAYABNm6WHcand the reason why you can't see your health i will have to look into...and plus try to give me a screenshot of when you can't see your health would be most pleasing...just upload to photobucket, thats where i upload my pictures at and use the image html tags (which are above to use in the add tags toolbar) to upload images on the website forum here. I dont have any tools, ie clip, trigger in my textures. How do i get all the tools?

hmm you might have not configured hammer right. You can automatically set it up by, launching Source SDK then close it, then lauch a game that you want to make maps for then quit once it loads, then relaunch Source SDK then launch Hammer, it should work then, if it doesnt just reset its configurations...

I think it only works for Counter-Strike : Source. Not entirely sure on this, however. That could be the problem. =/

well i am not so certain about cs 1.6 either...maybe you would use SDK instead of Source SDK? which one are you using?
i can try to find a place where they can help you with making maps for cs 1.6
until then i will paste it here when i get some luck on finding a place
