You type save in console with cheats activated
Idk how you save exactly what you want so I think it just saves EVERYTHING on the map, or at least everything you made..

well, I did see the little save icon on the garrys mod spawn/tools menu where you can save your stuff, but uhh, how to save stuff so you can open them up in other servers?! if no one can do that, then garry sould make it, he would be rich! like me of course...yeah right >.>

Yeah I don't know too much about the save function but garry, rich, hahahahhaha he's already rich! (gmod10 duh!)

yeah i know, he is a genius when it comes to making mods, because I have no clue how to script, I looked at how to lua script, but its hard, cuz I have no clue what they mean, but once someone learned or is learning it will come to mind better...I think

Just download the Advanced Duplicator from Garrysmod.org or something like that, or just google Adv. Dupe Stool.
